A while back, I went on a school trip to a place called “Lazy 5 Ranch” near Charlotte, NC. It’s kind of like a zoo, except you get to drive through the animal areas, and feed them! It was so incredible to be so close to the animals!
The most obnoxious animals were the ostriches, who would actually stick their necks all the way in the car to get the food! Little Pea was with me, and was really freaked out by this! Of course, before I rolled the window up, I got some really cool pictures!
The most surreal experience was staring at a zebra literally 6 inches from the car!
Aside from how much I love going on school field trips with the kids, the number 2 most awesome thing about going to the ranch was getting to try out my new camera! I am still learning how use it, but check out my “wild safari” shots!!
